SEEKING BALTIMORE CITY RESTAURATEURS!

Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, Baltimore Development Corporation and Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks have issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) from restaurateurs and food purveyors to operate the waterfront café at Rash Field Park, which is currently in development on the south side of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. What is the rental rate?

Rent and other charges are to be determined, subject to negotiation between the parties.

What is included in “warm, lit shell”?

The café space will be delivered unfinished with the following improvements:

  1. HVAC system with distribution ductwork (split system).
  2. Code compliant lighting.
  3. Exit signs
  4. Door operator system as required by code.
  5. Stubs for water and drainage into the space
  6. Tenant electrical panel with blanks for future use.
  7. Code-compliant electrical receptacles.

When will the café space be delivered in “warm, lit shell” condition?

The café space is projected to be delivered with the above improvements in November of 2021.

Is there an ADA-compliant restroom included?

ADA-compliant restrooms are provided in the café building for common usage with park visitors, and are accessed through a separate outside entrance.
