We’re excited to share some exciting news! Last week, the Maryland General Assembly approved $1 million in bond bill funding to support Rash Field Park. Thanks to the leadership of the 46th District Delegation – Senator Bill Ferguson, Delegates Brooke Lierman, Luke Clippinger and Robbyn Lewis – and Delegate Maggie McIntosh for making this possible.
This funding combined with commitments from the City of Baltimore, State of Maryland, corporate champions and dedicated neighbors, is crucial to building a park for all of Baltimore to enjoy.
Construction on Phase I of Rash Field Park is expected to begin by the end of 2019. Thank you to the City of Baltimore, Baltimore Development Corporation, and Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks for their work to support this project.
We invite you to follow our progress at Rashfield.org. We will update you in weeks to come as the vision for Rash Field moves closer to reality.
