Rash Field Park Clears Key Hurdle

It’s Official: Rash Field Park clears key hurdle for January groundbreaking

This morning, the City approved an innovative public-private partnership, handing us the keys to build Rash Field Park.  Waterfront Partnership, with city, state and private money, will lead construction and we’ve hired Whiting-Turner to be our construction manager and general contractor.  The completed park will feature a nature park, kinetic playground, skatepark, shade lawn and pavilion that will feature a waterfront cafe and green roof overlook.

Thanks to our partners, especially Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young, Baltimore City Recreation and Parks and the Baltimore Development Corporation, the 46th District Delegation and Delegate Maggie McIntosh, for making this possible.  Follow our progress at rashfield.org.
