Falloween DIY Pumpkin Craft Scavenger Hunt and Pumpkin Craft:
It’s spooky season and Mr. Trash Wheel is challenging you to create your very own Recycled Pumpkin Patch. First you’ll need to go on an epic scavenger hunt around your house to find materials. The materials have to be RECYCLED items. A recycled item could be anything from a toilet paper roll to a plastic bottle cap. Mr. Trash Wheel has created a trashtastic list of materials for you to search for:
- Toilet Paper Rolls: – Find two toilet paper rolls, the more you find the more pumpkins you can make for your patch!
- Plastic Bottle Caps: – You need one cap per pumpkin
- Other materials you can use: Plastic bottle, soda can tabs, old yarn, plastic bags, bottle caps, paper bags, paper towel rolls
Must Have Tools to Create a Pumpkin:
- Hot glue – You may use normal white glue in place of hot glue. It will require mort patience and drying time
- Orange and green paint
- Paint brush
- Cup of water – to rinse your your paint brushes
- An old rag or towel nearby in case you need to wipe off some paint or glue
