Baltimore Trivia:

Did you know that the first Catholic parish in Baltimore was in Fells Point?

Fells Point was home to the first Catholic parish in Baltimore, founded in 1792. The first church in this parish, St. Patrick’s Church, was completed in 1807 and stood at 317 S. Broadway St.
The church became an integral part of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Baltimore. St. Patrick’s Day mass was held there and it was a notable stop on the holiday’s celebratory parades
