A Saturday Stroll in Fells Point

Plan your perfect day in historic Fells Point! This waterfront neighborhood has so many shops, restaurants, and attractions to explore- it can be hard to decide what to do.

That’s why we’ve created an itinerary for a perfect Saturday in Fells Point: shop small, see local art, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. If you’re visiting the area, here’s what to do while you’re here!


10-11am: Stop for local coffee

Baltimore is a haven for coffee lovers, and Fells Point has many local shops to choose from! Stop at funky coffeehouse Daily Grind along the waterfront on Thames St and try one of their own award-winning coffees or enjoy a flavored latte.


11am-12pm: Shop for fresh local produce

From Thames St, walk over to Broadway Square for the Fells Point Farmers Market! Every Saturday from 9am-12:30pm you can find fresh food as well as crafts and goods from local producers at this market.


12-1pm: Treat yourself to a
delicious lunch

Fells Point is full of small businesses offering unique local flavors! Right by the farmers market, you can find Broadway Market, an indoor food hall that showcases some of Baltimore’s best chefs! It’s the perfect place to stop if you’re with multiple people who have varying tastes- you’re sure to find something for everyone here!


1-2pm: Explore the promenade

After lunch, stretch your legs with a waterfront stroll! The promenade in Fells Point winds from the Bond St Wharf to the intersection of Fells and Canton, offering stunning views of the harbor and plenty of photo ops.


2-4pm: Experience local art

Fells Point has tons of opportunities to see work from local artists!
Stop by Luann Carra Gallery and check out unique pieces. This gallery showcases a wide range of work with a focus on up-cycled art.


4-7pm: Shop small

Want to get some shopping done while you’re in the area? You’re in luck! Fells Point is home to so many unique local businesses. Check out places like The Sound Garden for a plethora of vinyl and cool music finds; Zelda Zen for one of a kind gifts; independent bookseller Greedy Reads for the latest in fiction and nonfiction; and Brightside Boutique for trendy women’s fashion and accessories.


7-8pm: Grab dinner on the waterfront

Waterfront dining is one of the best parts of exploring Fells Point! There are plenty of waterfront restaurants to choose from. Barcocina is a local favorite that offers outdoor seating with a great view of the harbor!


8-10pm: Enjoy live music from local performers

What better way to end your day than with a cold drink and some live tunes? Cat’s Eye Pub has been a staple of Fells Point since the 70s and hosts live musicians every single night. Stop by and see who’s playing!
