Get a chance to look through the lens of Larry “Whaddup” Caudle for reflection on Baltimore's very own influential genre, and from the forefathers and mother’s themselves! Featuring Tim Trees, Rod Lee, Paula Cambell, Rye Rye, and Unruly Records, to name a few…whether you want to practice your two-step, grab a vegan bite from Addison’s Kitchen, or do some ultra local shopping with one of our favorite vendors - Perfectly Lit, Black Heart and Tightfisted Fashion, the Amp is about to be LIT!

Larry Caudle is a Baltimore-based creative, entrepreneur, and CEO of The Br8eak Media LLC. The company's mission is to create innovative and engaging content that helps businesses and individuals tell their stories. As an avid dancer, MC, and the ultimate hype-man, Caudle is passionate about using his platform to create positive change and empower others through arts, entertainment, and business. Caudle and his network are the founding fathers of Baltimore Club music. Caudle is an advocate for the creative community and partners with multiple Baltimore-based non-profit organizations to provide resources and support for young people from underserved communities.

  • Paula Campbell is an American R&B singer from Baltimore, Maryland. She was born in 1983 and raised on the west side of the city. She attended Frederick Douglass High School and began singing in church at a young age. In 2007, she auditioned for and was a finalist on the television show Baltimore Idol. After the show, she signed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment and released her debut album, Who Got Next?, in 2009. The album spawned the hit singles “Wish It Was That Easy” and “Good Without You.” In 2012, she released her second album, The Truth. She has continued to tour and release music in the years since, and she is considered to be one of the most promising young R&B singers in the industry.

It’s just what we do.” Says Baltimore native Stylz. Named the queen of Baltimore club dance in 2013, she hopes to take the intricate dance style of footwork to another level.

    With over 15 years given to her craft, Stylz is passionate about preserving the legacy of her hometown, which was impacted after the loss of legendary DJ and MC K-swift. “I want the young girls in Baltimore to know it doesn’t stop at one competition. It goes further. Don’t be scared to say that you’re serious about dance.”

  • Terry Wedington is Known by his Artist Name TSU Terry He Was Born and Raised in Baltimore MD and Stated dancing at the age of 14 to stay off The Streets and Began Teaching at the age of 21 to give Back to the youth. Terry is The leader of the 2x We Run This City Group Competition Champions TSU Dance Crew. In 2018 the Crew was inducted into The Bmore Than Dance Hall of Frame.   • Zakiya Shivers is the owner of Baltimore’s own, Tightfisted Fashion. She started by blogging about thrifting adventures and her daily outfits and launch Tightfisted Fashion as an online store in 2011. Zikaya stays grounded by being involved in the local community as she curates events, fashion shows, and is the creator of the Vintage Black Expo, centered around Black and sustainable fashion.
