Join us for BxB Unplugged, our new weekly live music and makers series with a hyper-local focus that spotlights waterfront business, artists, and community leaders.

Each monthly concert series takes place in a different neighborhood park and is produced by a Baltimore leader in the arts, including Todd Barkan’s Keystone Korner Jazz, the Love Groove Collective, Black Assets, and Bryan Burkert of Sound Garden. BxB Unplugged brings Baltimore’s main stage magic down into our neighborhoods with intimate musical performances, delicious food and drinks, unique local vendors, and family-friendly activities.   • Chin-Yer Wright

    Chin-Yer is the visionary behind The Black Mall, a curated marketplace rooted in culture, community, and economic empowerment. 

    Her work is uniquely multigenerational and women-centered, highlighting all-women vendors offering everything from:

    • Jewelry & clothing

    • Home décor & accessories

    • Books & wellness products

    • Food & desserts

    She creates spaces where creatives and Black women entrepreneurs thrive, connect, and showcase their excellence.

  • Ty Alexander

    Inspired by the classic film Juice, Ty Alexander found her spark for DJing early, but like many, access and cost delayed the dream.

    She began seriously preparing pre-pandemic, and when the world slowed down, she locked in, spending countless hours in her basement sharpening her craft. That dedication paid off quickly. From streaming on Twitch to performing live, Ty has grown into a powerful presence behind the turn tables. 

    By 2021, she was opening for the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff team and performing at festivals, bringing intentional energy, storytelling, and soul into every set.

  • Chey Parker

    Chey Parker brings a deep love for Hip-Hop and R&B culture, with a secondary vibe rooted in house music. Her energy is about more than music—it’s about experience and connection.

    She invites the city to step outside, have fun, and reconnect:

    “The world is crazy right now—we need joy, we need people, we need community.”

    Chey curates spaces that highlight hardworking, authentic women across industries, showcasing talent, fierceness, unity, and real Baltimore energy.

    Coach B’s sound is a soulful blend of:

    • Classic reggae

    • 90s & early 2000s R&B

    • New York-inspired sounds

    • Neo-soul

    Expect high energy and real crowd engagement—she’s not just behind the stage, she’s in the moment with the people.

    Her mission is simple:

    With a versatile mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, and Gospel, DJ K-Leena delivers dynamic sets filled with:
