Baltimore Blueway
Paddlesports are here in the waters of Baltimore! Experience the city from another point of view as you paddle alongside historic ships, museums, and floating wetlands.
The Baltimore Blueway is a network of water trails and public access points for non-motorized craft that connects cultural, historic, and natural sites throughout the Baltimore waterfront and promotes an exciting new way to experience our city.
With 8 different trails to choose from, there is something for every type of paddler. Whether you’re a beginner looking to rent a kayak for the day or an experienced paddler getting a workout in, there’s a Baltimore Blueway trail for you!
Inner Harbor Pickleball Courts
The Inner Harbor Pickleball Pop-Up Court is a free six-week experience powered by PNC Bank and is perfect for anyone looking to give pickleball a chance for the first time, sharpen their skills, and connect with their fellow players.
Inner Harbor Pickleball Courts will be open from Friday, July 17, through Friday, August 28.
Courts are open for play on a first-come, first-served basis from sunrise to sunset, except for "free" scheduled Coached Pickleball Programs. Don't have your own gear? Pickleball equipment is available for rental at the "Rent. Fun – Equipment Rental Kiosk" located next to the pickleball courts; scan the QR Code and follow the rental instructions.
"Coached Pickleball Programs" are hosted by SOS Pickleball, where an SOS Coach is on-site to guide games, give feedback & tips, and ensure everyone is having fun! Bring your own pickleball paddle or borrow theirs. RSVP for free online or walk up during one of their scheduled Coached Open Play Sessions.
Harbor Splash
Pop-Up Swims
Yes, we jumped in the harbor. Multiple times. And we’ll do it again-you should join us!
Harbor Splash Pop Up swims are sanctioned public swimming events at Bond St Wharf in Fells Point. These ticketed events are a chance for the public to enjoy swimming in our beautiful Baltimore Harbor.
These events are weather dependent and by registration only. We will announce each pop up swim the week of the event. To be notified first when a swim is announced, be sure to join our Harbor Splash mailing list.
For more than a decade, Waterfront Partnership worked alongside a core group of non-profits, educational institutions, government officials, and business leaders and citizen volunteers to clean up the Baltimore Harbor and reach a point where we could swim. Our inaugural Harbor Splash in 2024 was both a celebration of this work and a commitment to continue it.
Jake’s Skate Park
Skaters of all ages gather at Jake's Skate Park, located in the Inner Harbor in Rash Field Park. Jake’s Skate Park is the site of our monthly Boards and Breakfast classes, a free skate program for kids 12 & under to learn from pro Joey Jett.
Inner Harbor Pickleball
New to the Inner Harbor for Summer 2026: we are bringing pickleball to the Inner Harbor, the pickleball courts offer open play, equipment rentals, and public tournaments. Grab a partner and head down to the harbor!
Evening Bird Walks
Join Sharin Nature on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from June through September for a Golden Hour bird walk around the Inner Harbor. Bring your binoculars and get ready to identify the many varieties of birds that live on our waterfront!
