Winter Village Skate
The Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore is excited to bring back their Winter Village for 2025. Hotel guests and residents are invited to discover the Hotel’s rooftop skating rink at Winter Village Skate located on the fifth-floor terrace. With concession-style bites and sweeping harbor views, Winter Village Skate is the perfect cold weather activity.
Pique Assiette Mosaic Mirror Workshop at AVAM
In this workshop, students will create a 10" square Valentine-themed Pique Assiette (broken china) mirror frame, while learning how to break and cut china, apply it to a substrate, and how to grout. Materials will include a frame with a small mirror, flowery china, all tools and adhesives, and grout. The grouting process will be demonstrated, and will be done at home after the glue has dried. Personal china pieces can be brought to break and include, if desired.
Each participant will leave with a small mosaic, and bag of grout, to complete their project. Ages 16 and older. Space is limited. Please pack a lunch or snack, there is no food available on site for purchase.
Troubled Tributary : Film Screening and Panel
IMET is pleased to invite you to a special film screening and panel discussion, Troubled Tributary: Maryland’s Patuxent River, taking place at IMET on February 7, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
This short documentary examines the environmental challenges facing the Patuxent River and highlights the vital role of community advocacy, science, and environmental justice in protecting Maryland’s waterways.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Fred Tutman (Patuxent Riverkeeper), Vernice Miller-Travis Miller Travis (Environmental Justice Pioneer), and Cari Harris (Founder of Greater Baltimore Climate Summit), who will share insights and engage in dialogue around environmental stewardship, people of color in the environmental justice movement, and solution driven environmental work.

Come lend your voice and help shape the future of the Jones Falls watershed.
Volunteers and environmental leaders in Baltimore are co-creating a landmark Strategic Plan for the future of the Jones Falls and its connected waterways.
This community-led effort is calling on residents, local businesses, community groups, and everyone with a stake in the future of the falls to join us at our strategic planning meetings.
These meetings are designed to provide space for all interested parties to come together and imagine a brighter future for the all parts of the watershed. Participants will be part of breakout discussions around two topics of interest from our five focus areas:
Water Quality & Stream Health
Habitat & Biodiversity
Access, Recreation & Public Space
Land Use, Infrastructure & Flooding
History, Culture & Community Stewardship
The first round of meetings are geographically focused. We encourage you to attend the session for the area where you live, work, or study.
This meeting will focus on the Lower part of the Falls and the Inner Harbor, which spans which spans the breadth of the watershed between the harbor to Northern Parkway.
Bite of Baltimore - Fell's Point Food Tour
In the historically colonial neighborhood of Fells Point, our tour focuses on the cuisine of Maryland! We tell the story of how the neighborhood started, its role in the birth of our country, and its role in the network of vibrant neighborhoods in Baltimore. Take in the architecture, the history, the culture, and the community while we enjoy a progressive meal through historic Fells Point. Learn about the working waterfront, and the nautical influence that Baltimore played all over the world. The historic waterfront and working town still feels like a small community surrounded by a large city.

Voices in Solidarity: Baltimore’s Black and Jewish Operatic History
Voices in Solidarity: Baltimore’s Black and Jewish Operatic History, a collaborative partnership between Opera Baltimore, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture, and the Jewish Museum of Maryland launches with a powerful kick-off event at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum on February 14th, 2026. Join us for an immersive public program using vocal music as a lens to explore the deep roots and lasting resonance of Black musical traditions shaped by migration, resilience, and artistic exchange in Baltimore.
The day begins with a moderated panel featuring scholars, archivists, and performers. including acclaimed Baltimore-born opera singer Daniel Rich. Anchored by artifacts from the Lewis Museum, the panel explores themes of tradition, support, tension, and solidarity across Black and Jewish communities. The afternoon culminates in a recital by Daniel Rich, tracing his personal and artistic journey through opera, musical theater, spirituals, and new works by Baltimore composers, reflecting the sound, stories and ongoing artistic excellence of Black Baltimore. Daniel will be joined by poet, singer, and visual artist Vincent Stringer and pianist, JoyAnne Amani

Brandon Woody's UPENDO at Keystone Korner
Brandon Woody, trumpet Troy Long, piano Michael Saunders, bass Quincy Phillips, drums Brandon Woody is a Baltimore-born, Bach-endorsed trumpeter, composer, and bandleader whose music flows from the rich lineage of Black music, including jazz, gospel, improvisation, and beyond, to explore themes of love, resilience, and community. Hailed by The New York Times and Los Angeles Times as a rising force in contemporary jazz, Woody signed with the legendary Blue Note Records in November 2024 and released his debut album, "For The Love Of It All", in May 2025. Featuring his longtime band Upendo, the album showcases Woody’s ability to craft music that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Virtual Tour: Esther and the Dream of One Loving Human Family with Bernice Steinhardt
Through works of art and other artifacts, the tour of the exhibition "Esther and the Dream of One Loving Human Family" speaks to the effects of racism, anti-Semitism, and “othering” on our common humanity. The program will highlight the art works of Holocaust survivor, Esther Nisenthal Krinitz, who told her story of survival as a young teenager in a narrated series of vividly colorful stitched tapestries. Accompanying Esther’s art are works by artists from Rwanda, South Africa and Indian Country, among others.
Bernice Steinhardt, Esther’s daughter and co-founder of the non-profit Art and Remembrance, will introduce viewers to selected works and respond to audience questions.

The Naptown Brass Band Celebrates Mardi Gras!
Celebrate Mardi Gras in style with The Napdown Brass Band! The Naptown Brass Band is a New Orleans style street band that is taking Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington by storm with their infectious energy, improvisational prowess, and engaging stage presence that creates a second line vibe that brings people together in celebration. They blast out high energy grooves for dancing in the street or wherever you are; earning them “Best Local Band/Musician in Annapolis” two years running (2023 and 2024) by What's Up Annapolis Magazine. Expect a lively and party-like experience, where the music invites you to dance, groove, and let loose. They are dedicated to exposing more of the world to the great tradition of New Orleans brass bands and second line beats.

Murder, mayhem, and impeccable farce take center stage as Vagabond Players brings Joseph Kesselring’s classic ARSENIC AND OLD LACE to the stage Feb. 20 through March 15, 2026. Directed by Katie Sheldon in her Vagabond Players directorial debut, the production marks the third offering of the company’s milestone 110th season. Meet Aunt Abby and Aunt Martha Brewster—two of the sweetest homicidal maniacs you’ll ever encounter. Only please don’t let them talk you into a glass of their homemade elderberry wine, because you probably won’t live to regret it! As the corpses begin to pile up, so does nephew Mortimer Brewster’s panic—not just in trying to fend off the police, but also his prodigal brother, Jonathan, a murderous gangster with a scary new face and a body count that rivals his aunts’. Historic Nuclear Ship Savannah Public Site Visit
Come experience a time capsule of the atomic age – the world’s first nuclear-powered merchant ship, the Nuclear Ship Savannah will host a public site visit Saturday, February 21st. The ship will be open from 10am to 3pm, where you can experience its mid-century modern interiors, engine and control rooms, and other spaces, just as passengers and visitors did during its operation. In addition, you can now take a self-guided tour of the containment vessel, which housed the nuclear reactor – truly a unique experience. Savannah is located at 4601 Newgate Avenue, Pier 13 Canton Marine Terminal.
Beyond the Scoreboard: The Baltimore Black Sox and the Negro Leagues’ Civil Rights Legacy
Join the Reginald F. Lewis Museum and community partners for a panel discussion celebrating the legacy of the Baltimore Black Sox, one of Baltimore’s historic Negro League baseball teams, and their impact on the Civil Rights Movement. Explore how these athletes navigated a segregated society, where “separate but not equal” defined life both on and off the field, and learn about their lasting influence on their communities and the fight for equality. After the discussion, visitors can participate in preservation workshops on family genealogy and celebrate community traditions, including baseball and family celebrations.
Artfirmations Workshop with Artist Beezy Young
This workshop combines mindfulness based affirmation writing with creative art making to help participants affirm and reconnect with themselves through art. Through guided exercises, Artist Beezy Young introduces techniques in abstract expression and mixed media to transform personal affirmations into beautiful visual artworks. Space is limited, ages 16 and older.
Beezy Young (they/them) is a queer multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Washington, DC. Beezy is a self taught painter and digital illustrator. Their art is heavily influenced by neoexpressionism and the current political climate, where they utilize mixed media and abstract styles to create their pieces. Their intention is to inspire marginalized people to follow their art amidst challenging times, as well as to affirm the beauty in their existence and resilience. Learn more about them on Instagram.

Secret Society at Keystone Korner
Bryan Mills, saxophone Mike Madison, vocals Taryne Warren, vocals Robbie McDonald, guitar David Dyson, bass Patrick Cooper, keyboards Tim Steele, drums Formed in 2008, Secret Society, the brainchild of Washington-area musician Bryan Mills, was created to bring the “Live Band” sound back to today’s heavily computerized music market. The combination of talent, deep history, tradition, experience and a host of influences stemming from the seeds of John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Police, Rick James and a host of others, gives this band their own unique sound and identity. Their brand of “Feel Good Music” was nominated for a WAMMIE by the Washington Area Music Awards (WAMA) for Best Urban Contemporary Duo/Group. The band has been featured in several magazines, including Prince George's Suite and Magazine 33 Virginia, as "one of the hottest bands in the region!"

2026 CIAA Education Day & Career Expo
The 2026 US Army ROTC CIAA High School Education Day will be held for City Schools and surrounding schools in MD, DC, VA, and neighboring states on Wednesday, February 25th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will kick off with an opening session that includes tournament leadership and sponsor welcome and remarks and US Army ROTC presentation. At the conclusion of the opening program, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the various CIAA institution and vendor booths that are part of our educational fair. Admission offers and scholarships from CIAA colleges and universities will be available. For participants that arrive prior the event’s kickoff, we will have pre-program activities from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. that will include a deejay, games, giveaways, and band and cheerleader performances.
This program is free and open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and chaperones (e.g., school representatives, organization advisors/staff, parents, etc.).

Lee Ritenour, guitar Giorgi Mikadze, piano Munir Hossn, bass Wesley Ritenour, drums For Lee Ritenour, there aren’t many ‘firsts’ left to achieve. During his dazzling five-decade career, the fabled LA guitarist has taken his music to the outer limits, alighting on every genre and occupying every position in the rock ‘n’ roll firmament. He’s been an enfant terrible of ’70s fusion, a crossover star of the ’80s pop chart, an honorary exponent of Brazilian jazz, and the fingers behind ’90s supergroup, Fourplay. Ritenour’s accolades include: 45 albums, Grammy award winner, plus 16 Grammy nominations, Alumnus of the year at USC, Los Angeles’ Jazz Society Honoree (2019), plus thousands of sessions with legends such as Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, B.B. King, Tony Bennett, among others.
Noah Pierre Band: "Inwards" Album Release Celebration
Noah Pierre, guitar & vocals Ricky Jefferson, keyboards & piano Mike Paxton, saxophone Jordon Stanley, drums Oliver Unger, electric bass Noah Pierre Band returns to Keystone for the album release show of their new record entitled, “Inwards”. This sophomore album marks a progression in their sound, continuing on themes from “Frames” with a broader array of influences. This concert will conclude a 3 show run in support of the album. Noah Pierre is a Baltimore-based guitar player who has played behind artists such as Jarrod Lawson, Ron Holloway, MegaGoneFree, Micah Robinson, and others. With Noah Pierre Band, he has performed at the Maryland Music Awards in 2024 and was featuring in WBAL-TV's Holiday Special in December 2024.

More than 150,000 people will descend on Baltimore for five action-packed days of basketball, entertainment, and networking when the nation’s oldest African American athletic conference, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, hosts its 2026 CIAA Championship Basketball Tournament. The CIAA extends the celebration beyond the courts with a two-day FREE Fan Fest. A popular site to meet and get in the spirit, Fan Fest offers music, food, dance, and socializing.

Every February, thousands of undie runners in cities across the U.S. come together, whether it be in-person or virtually, to support those affected by NF, a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.
Cupid’s Undie Run kicks off with drinking and dancing, then we jog it out with a mile(ish) run and end it all with an epic dance party!
Business 101: How to Thrive as a Creative Entertainer
Learn how to thrive as an artist in the entertainment industry with artist Wordsmith. Aspiring artists and entrepreneurs will learn how Wordsmith earns a living in music, acting, composing and songwriting while providing tips to those desiring to make it in this industry. Musical selections from Wordsmith will be performed following the workshop session.

Volunteers and environmental leaders in Baltimore are co-creating a landmark Strategic Plan for the future of the Jones Falls and its connected waterways.
This community-led effort is calling on residents, local businesses, community groups, and everyone with a stake in the future of the falls to join us at our strategic planning meetings.
These meetings are designed to provide space for all interested parties to come together and imagine a brighter future for the all parts of the watershed. Participants will be part of breakout discussions around two topics of interest from our five focus areas:
Water Quality & Stream Health
Habitat & Biodiversity
Access, Recreation & Public Space
Land Use, Infrastructure & Flooding
History, Culture & Community Stewardship
The first round of meetings are geographically focused. We encourage you to attend the session for the area where you live, work, or study.
This meeting will focus on the Middle of the Falls, which spans which spans the breadth of the watershed between Northern Parkway and 695.

Pi(e) Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant pi, a number used to calculate the circumference of a circle, and also a celebration of sweet and savory, circular baked treats! The Peabody Jazz Department is committed to presenting jazz through community engagement, student empowerment, and pedagogical foundations. Our Peabody Jazz Combos present student performances of jazz classics and original compositions under the direction of our world-renowned Peabody Jazz faculty. This show will present 2 ensembles under the direction of esteemed professors Nasar Abadey and Tim Green. Donations to our website directly or the Keystone Go-Fund-Me strongly encouraged. "Echoes of Soul" A Tribute to The S.O.S. Band & Atlantic Starr featuring Julie Ennis
Atlantic Starr was one of the most successful soul bands of the 80s and early 90s, with a basketful of memorable songs including "Always", "Secret Lovers", "Circles", "Silver Shadow", and "Masterpiece". The S.O.S. Band is an R&B and electro-funk group who also gained fame in the 80s. They are best known for their songs "Take Your Time," "Tell Me If You Still Care," and “The Finest.” Julie Hawkins Ennis is a powerhouse vocalist whose musical roots run deep in the soul of Southern Maryland. After college, Julie began recording under Paul Minor’s guidance as well as that of legendary R&B artist Al Johnson of The Unifics. Under Minor’s development, she was positioned to become a featured female solo act under Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire with EMI. From Southern Maryland roots to East Coast stages, Julie “Juliet” Hawkins Ennis remains a dynamic voice shaped by passion, heritage, and a lifelong devotion to music.

Music Under the Dome is an immersive planetarium experience featuring in-house curated imagery set to a music playlist packed with the Rolling Stone’s iconic hits. The show is uniquely developed to compliment the soundtrack, and is only available at the Maryland Science Center.
Mike Phillips at Keystone Korner
Soulful contemporary jazz saxophonist Mike Phillips is known as one of the most electrifying instrumentalists today. Mike is the first musician signed by Michael Jordan to the Nike Jordan Brand, home of the Air Jordan, and is the only musician in the world to have recorded and toured with the legendary “Big Three” of American soul and pop music: Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder, not only as a member of the band, but as a featured soloist. Mike Phillips has played three halftime NFL shows with various artists and served as Music Director for the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration for two consecutive years. Phillips also served as Musical Director and Host of the popular BET program “Lyric Café”.

Have you ever thought, "I've always wanted to try sailing…"? If the answer is YES, then the Downtown Sailing Center’s 3-hour Taste of Sailing course is for you! This experience-based course will teach you the basics of helming a sailboat, trimming sails, and will introduce you to some cool nautical lingo. You’ll learn while sailing around Baltimore’s beautiful waterfront and have the opportunity to experience the city in a whole new way! Each boat will have a maximum of 4 students, so there will be plenty of opportunities to try your hand at the tiller, handle the sails, or just sit back and take in the sights.

Known for her crossover mix of smooth jazz, fusion, pop, and new age music, Japan's Keiko Matsui is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer. Emerging in the late '80s, Matsui has issued 27 albums over the decades including 1989's Under Northern Lights, 1995's chart-topping Sapphire, 2016's Journey to the Heart, and 2023’s Euphoria, that displayed a grasp of both Western and Eastern musical traditions and her love of nature and spirituality. Kenny Sway is known as “DC’s Best Male Vocalist,” coming from Seat Pleasant, Maryland, best known for the viral videos of his street performances in Washington DC. Kenny is a very genuine artist, who became a real advocate for the black community in the aftermath of Floyd’s death, leading almost daily peaceful protests dominated by love, peace, unity and his music. He started out as a street artist years ago, serenading the streets of Maryland and DC, but he is still going out in the streets to perform for the people who can’t afford to buy tickets to his concerts.

He formed the Greg Hatza ORGANization and has been performing and recording on the instrument non-stop since that time. With the trend towards more advanced electronic keyboard and rhythms now, Greg adapted to the trend, switching from the Hammond B-3 to the electric keyboard and piano.

An Evening with Love: "The Sound Of Feeling" Live Recording Session! Raymond J. Spence, drums & bandleader Camille Scott, keyboards Sheritta Harris, vocal Jordan Estevao, bass The Storage Unit Collective was established in 2016 by Raymond J. Spence in Hampton Roads Virginia. The uniqueness of the name is correlated to the space this collective would rehearse. Frequently while playing, fellow musicians would stop by to collaborate. With that in mind, Spence created the collective to offer a space for musicians to organically create without the stress of committing to a group. While many musicians have collaborated since the inception of the collective, its core members are: Raymond J. "Toxic" Spence, Sheritta “Love” Harris, Camille "C.Jai" Scott & Jordan "Pimpspy" Estevao.

Cyrus Mackey, trumpet & vocals Ephraim Dorsey, tenor saxophone Nico Whol, guitar Troy Long, piano Will Hazel, bass Reggie Thomas, drums Kenyatta is a radiant fusion of the many musical voices of the African Diaspora—where jazz, soul, gospel, afrobeat, and beyond meet on one stage. Led by trumpeter and composer Cy, the band draws on his wide-ranging experience in African American musical traditions to create a sound that feels both deeply rooted and boldly forward-looking. Kenyatta has steadily grown into a vibrant gathering place for a devoted and expanding community of listeners, united by groove, improvisation, and shared joy. This performance is a celebration of unity and social music: a space where rhythms connect, melodies uplift, and the audience becomes part of the experience.

King Day 2026 | The Children Shall Lead
Join the Reginald F. Lewis Museum to celebrate King Day 2026 through the eyes of youth activists from the Civil Rights Movement to present day social movements. Program activities will include provoking conversations, film screenings, musical performances and a host of family fun filled activities. These programs are inspired by Kid Zone, the museum’s newest interactive permanent exhibit solely dedicated to children and families.
“From Slavery to Civil Rights: The African American Railroading Legacy” Public Tour
On this tour, learn about the legacy of African Americans on the railroad. From the laying of the first tracks and the B&O’s connection to the Underground Railroad, through the Civil War Era and into the Civil Rights Movement, the African American experience has been intertwined with the history of the railroad in a variety of ways.

Ebban & Ephraim Dorsey Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Lift Every Voice & Sing!”
Young superstars, Ebban & Ephraim Dorsey celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in this multi-generational concert, as they perform classics and anthems including “Lift Every Voice & Sing!” Ebban Dorsey, 21-year-old alto saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, is from Baltimore, Maryland and has gained a lot of experience playing Jazz. She was a member of NYO Jazz 2020 as well as NYO Jazz 2021 and recorded an album with the 2021 Jazz band. Ephraim Dorsey, 22-year-old tenor saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, is from Baltimore, Maryland and has gained a lot of experience playing Jazz having performed with Carl Grubbs, Gary Bartz and more. He was a member of NYO Jazz 2021 and recorded an album with the 2021 Jazz Band.

Meet us in-store on Sunday, January 18th at 8:30am to sign in, and the run or walk will promptly start at 8:45am after a light warmup. No drop, all speeds welcome, good times guaranteed.
Don't forget to bring water bottle, weather appropriate clothes, and a fun attitude as the conditions will be determined as we get closer.
Raydio at Keystone Korner
Raydio came out of the box red hot, and continued a chart run for several decades with melodic songs and lush vocals to match. Formed by guitarist supreme Ray Parker Jr, the original band included Jerry Knight, Vincent Bonham and Arnell Carmichael, and scored 4 Gold Albums during the 70s and 80s, with 20 singles that ranked high in the U.S. R&B and pop charts. Some of the groups biggest hits include “You Can’t Change That”, “ Jack & Jill”, “Two Places”, “For Those Who Like Too Grove”, “A Woman Needs Love”, and many more. In 2014, original lead singer and member Arnell Carmichael reformed the group and started touring once again, performing all of Raydio’s hits. They recruited other musicians and toured with artists like the DeBarges, Switch, and War. Keystone Kards are not applicable for this show.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration at The Walters Museum
The Walters annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration takes place Saturday, January 17 from 3–4:30 p.m., and the lineup is stacked. Curated by Unique Robinson, you'll see performances by Ray Winder, multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer/songwriter; Lady Brion, Maryland Poet Laureate and founder of The Black Arts District; Davon Fleming, singer/songwriter, semi-finalist on The Voice, and Unique, a poet/MC, professor, and community educator.
