Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend is Dec 2-3

This season, join us for the most festive weekend in Baltimore December 2-3. The city will be bustling and bright with winter fun and ways to celebrate!

Hunt for the perfect gift from local makers, spin your way across the ice, and maybe even stop for a visit with Santa. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend.

Saturday, December 2

Saturday, December 2nd will be a big day on the waterfront! If you’re in for an early start, join Baltimore City Rec n Parks for their annual Reindeer Run 5k starting at Rash Field. Then, head over to Harbor East for some live music as part of their Joyful Jams holiday concert series!

When the time comes for lunch, there are plenty of options. Visit Christmas Village to enjoy authentic German cuisine and partake in celebrating their German American Weekend! Or travel back in time with Fells Point’s Old Tyme Christmas celebration, happening in Broadway Square.

Be sure to have your holiday shopping list ready- this is THE weekend to shop local and find bespoke gifts for everyone in your life! The Holiday Makers Market at Harborplace is open 3-8PM. This weekend-long shopping wonderland will feature Baltimore makers and artisans from all over the city with a vast array of goods. While you’re at Harborplace, be sure to also stop by the Made in Baltimore pop up store! Made in Baltimore is a local staple and will have their holiday pop up store open at Harborplace 11AM-7PM.

While shopping at Harborplace, you’ll be in the perfect spot to see the Parade of Lighted Boats! This annual event is an iconic celebration of Baltimore’s nautical ties and holiday spirit.

Sunday, December 3rd

The festivities continue through Sunday! Sunday morning, bring the kids over to Harbor East for Breakfast with Santa at Kneads Bakeshop & Cafe. Then, German American weekend continues at Christmas Village! Traditional German fun on Sunday will include Bierstein holding, Bratwurst Eating and Brezelschnappen competitions. Do you think you have what it takes to be a Bratwurst eating champion? There’s only one way to find out!
Don’t miss your last chance to shop in Harborplace while it’s packed to the brim with Baltimore small businesses! The Holiday Makers Market will be open again from 3-8PM and Made in Baltimore Holiday Pop Up from 11am-7pm. If you don’t want to shop after this weekend, you won’t have to!

Don’t forget to swing by for a skate at the Inner Harbor Ice Rink while you’re down here! The rink will be open 10am-8pm on Sunday.
