Halls, prepare to be decked! Sugarplums, get ready to dance! And Baltimoreans, mark your calendars for December 6-7th, 2025, when Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend returns. Holiday shopping, festive lighted boats, and beloved holiday characters will all converge to make this weekend the merriest and brightest of the whole season. Here’s everything you need to know for Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend.

Saturday, December 6th

Olde Time Christmas

Broadway Square | 9am - 10pm
The day starts off with Santa arriving on a tugboat at Broadway Pier to fill the day with holiday cheer. Photos with Santa, kids' crafts, letters to Santa, the lighting of the Christmas Tree, and a view of the Lighted Boat Parade make for a fun Fell’s Point day for the whole family. Stroll the streets and pop into our local retailers for holiday gifts, sip on a warm cocktail in one of our historic bars, and enjoy a meal at any of our award-winning restaurants.

Sock Creature Saturday

American Visionary Art Museum | 9am - 1pm
There's festive fun afoot: make your own sole-mate at the AVAM! Sock Creatures don’t only make for cuddly companions of your own, but are great last-minute gifts for loved ones of all ages too. Many materials including stuffing, sewing needles, thread, visionary baubles will be provided. Bring a pair of fun, clean, colorful socks if you’d like, we will also have some available for you!

Inner Harbor Ice Rink

Inner Harbor Amphitheater | 10am - 11pm
Come and experience the magic of the Inner Harbor Ice Rink, a cherished Baltimore holiday tradition right in the heart of the city. Get ready to skate your heart out and enjoy breathtaking harbor views; Nov – Jan.

Holiday Makers Market

Light St. Pavilion | 2-8pm
Get ready for another fabulous and festive holiday takeover of Harborplace! The Inner Harbor will once again become Baltimore’s holiday shopping headquarters, with 60+ local artists and makers popping up all weekend long, plus food, drinks, music, and entertainment.

Magic Of Merryland

Harbor East
Sip hot chocolate as you stroll beneath glistening lights and admire beautifully painted windows. Standing 40 feet tall and positioned just outside of the Four Seasons, The Magic of Merryland Tree will illuminate Baltimore’s skyline in Harbor East through January 25th. Each night, the light show will occur every half hour between 5:30pm and 9pm.

Family Weekend at Christmas Village

Christmas Village, West Shore Park | 12-9pm
This weekend, Christmas Village will welcome families to come enjoy kids’ activities and performances inside the big festival tent. The rest of the village will be open as normal with holiday shopping, food, and drinks, too.

Culturally Curated: Chic Sneaks Edition

Reginald F. Lewis Museum | 7-10PM
Step into the holiday season in your best kicks and your flyest fit! Make protecting Black history one of your reasons for the season and join Reginald F. Lewis for an Insanely Dope evening of Black art, music and culture! 

Parade of Lighted Boats

Fells Point | 7-10PM
Among the highlights of Most Festive Weekend is one of Baltimore’s longest-running winter traditions, the Lighted Boat Parade. Presented by Sail Baltimore in partnership with Anchorage Marina and other local organizations, the parade benefits the Southeast Exchange Club Toy Drive and celebrates the city’s maritime heritage. This year also marks Sail Baltimore’s 50 th anniversary, highlighting decades of keeping the parade and holiday spirit alive.

Sunday, December 7th

Inner Harbor Ice Rink
