Celebrate the 4th of July on the Waterfront!
Next week’s holiday brings a star spangled celebration and red, white, and blue picnic to Baltimore’s waterfront district for an unforgettable day of community fun that caps off with a live BSO performance under the fireworks!
Here are all the ways to enjoy the day on the waterfront, from morning to night. With a full day of free, family-friendly events happening on the waterfront, you won’t want to spend the Fourth anywhere else!
Pet Parade 
9AM | American Visionary Arts Museum
One of our city’s most treasured traditions, AVAM’s pet parade and animal talent show, kicks off the day at 9AM! Don’t miss Baltimore’s pets as they strut their stuff in patriotic costume. 
Baltimore Beach Volleyball Tournament 
12PM| Rash Field 
Feeling sporty? Baltimore Beach is hosting their annual volleyball tournament at Rash Field. Registration is available in advance on their website  and from 10am-11:15am on the 4th, and the tournament begins at 12pm. 
Red, White, & Blue Picnic
3PM | West Shore Park 
Starting at 3PM, head over to West Shore Park for a community picnic. Enjoy a set from DJ Keebee and watch out for street performers! Cool off with a beverage and grab lunch from one of the local food trucks popping up in the park. 
Live Music at the Amp
4PM | Inner Harbor Amphitheater
Local Baltimore performers will be taking the stage at the amp, starting at 4pm! Catch  performances from Michael Rossman, DJ C. James, & Avenue 66, as they keep the energy high for the evening!
Live Orchestra Under the Fireworks
8PM | Rash Field Park 
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will begin a live performance at 8PM, continuing through the city’s fireworks and drone show! Set up at Rash Field Park to watch as the fireworks light up the Inner Harbor, while enjoying beautiful music from our city’s finest orchestra.
