Community Boat Cruise with Kish The Lioness

Last month we had the pleasure of joining local cultural leader Kish the Lionness and her students on a Living Classrooms boat ride. It was an evening of fun and education on the water!

Coach, aka Kish the Lioness, leads educational and hands-on workshops designed to showcase different elements of creative writing, performance art and public speaking at Ashbuton Elementary and Middle school.

To celebrate the end of the school year, Coach Kish invited her team and students out to enjoy an educational and enjoyable night on the waterfront. Students learned about oysters and their role in the harbor, as well as the basics of being out on the water!

Coach Kish provides therapeutic youth enrichment to girls in Baltimore City, offering a wide array of education and instruction on self care, health & hygiene, as well as anti bullying, etiquette and building meaningful relationships to support Baltimore’s future leaders. We applaud her work and are gracious to call her a partner and cultural leader that we look to for inspiration and direction.
