Holiday Makers Market 2025: A Dive into the Holidays

Waterfront Partnership’s Holiday Makers Market returned for our 4th year this past weekend, anchoring our celebration of Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend in the transformed Harborplace Light St. Pavilion. With an eclectic collection of local vendors, whimsical decor, and unique performers, this year’s Holiday Makers Market was a merry and bright experience for all!

This year, the market featured 60 vendors across both days, all local Baltimore artists, makers, and entrepreneurs. Visitors perused goods from handmade jewelry to vintage clothing, warmed up with tea and desserts, and admired hand-knitted scarves and toys. Our goal with the Holiday Makers Market is always to showcase a thoughtfully curated variety of goods from our talented local vendors.

We want people to stay awhile after shopping, and that’s why we worked to create a warm, welcoming space for this market. This year, our holiday takeover of Harborplace had a festive underwater theme, bringing a little extra whimsy to the most magical time of the year.

With the help of Mr. Trash Wheel fans and volunteers, we created an up-cycled umbrella jelly forest. These umbrella jellies were crafted using old or broken umbrellas that otherwise would have been thrown away and we used plastic bottles and other recyclables, streamers, and more to turn them into an enchanting display.

Visitors enjoyed watching our mermaids perform on a mounted lyra, and kids and adults both waited to have their photos taken with the mermaids! Outside the market, painted statue performers from Baltimore Hoop Love welcomed passerby into the space with fun photo ops, and some visitors even braved the cold to get a hula hoop in.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the market this year! We had a blast getting in the holiday spirit with you all.
P.S.- did you take a photo in our on-site photo booth? Find your photos here for Saturday and here for Sunday.
