What’s New At Rash Field Park? August Construction Update

Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout July 2025

We’ve been busy this month! Throughout the month of July there has been a lot of visible progress made on Phase 2. Demolition of existing infrastructure has been one of the most noticeable changes to the site.

The Plano-Coudon team has successfully completed demolition of the concrete retaining wall and bleachers, removed and salvaged existing pavers, and removed all stadium lighting. Along with the clearance of these structural pieces, the team has begun leveling and grading the site in preparation for work in the coming months.

Demolition and earthwork will continue for the next few months, as it is the most time-consuming portion of the project, but we are right on schedule despite the extreme rain and heat this past month.

We are also excited to announce that OneDo Coffee Roasters will begin construction on their new cafe space at the BGE Pavilion, located in Phase 1 of Rash Field Park! They hope to be open and serving up your favorite beverages, homemade baked goods, and sandwiches this fall.

Rash Field Phase I will remain open during construction, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community.
