What’s New At Rash Field Park? October Construction Update

Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout September 2025

It may not look like a lot has changed in the past month, but below ground a lot of work has been completed! Through September, the Plano-Coudon team has continued to make headway on important underground infrastructure that will lay the groundwork for the upcoming above-ground progress.

The earthwork, grading, trenching, ductwork, and electrical/sewer lines are all time-consuming and essential pieces to the project, and are also susceptible to weather. In September, we lost the first two days of construction to rain, but the impact appears to be minimal and the overall project remains on schedule. We are also happy to report that we have found a home for thousands of granite pavers that were removed - the Department of Recreation and Parks will be salvaging the pavers for use in future projects around the City. Thank you to Recreation and Parks for their ongoing partnership on this project and we can't wait until next summer when everyone will be able to enjoy this wonderful new park again.

Despite construction, Rash Field Phase 1 will remain open, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community.
