On May 30, 2025,Maryland’s iconic tall ship and official sailing ambassador, Pride of Baltimore II, will embark on a multi-month voyage across all five Great Lakes and participate in Tall Ships America’s Tall Ships Challenge®. The public is invited to a special dockside event to send her off in true Maryland style.

Join the crew on the Baltimore waterfront for ceremony and community pride as we bid farewell and fair winds to Pride of Baltimore II. The program will feature remarks from local and state leaders, followed by a dockside send-off as the ship sets sail—rain or shine!
