Pi(e) Day

  • Maryland Science Center 601 Light Street Baltimore, MD, 21230 United States (map)

Celebrate the most mathematically delicious day of the year at the Maryland Science Center!

Pi(e) Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant Pi (∏), a number used to calculate the circumference of a circle, and also a celebration of sweet and savory, circular baked treats! Circle up for a well rounded day of endless fun. Experiment with light and color while creating spectacular circle art. Test your aim as you launch pizza pie toppings with catapults. Feed some hungry dinosaurs in a pie toss challenge, show off your hula hooping skills, and so much more!

All activities are included with paid admission and completely free to members or schools visiting on a field trip.
