Jake’s Day 2025
It was a perfect Saturday for shredding at the skatepark! This past weekend we hosted our annual Jake’s Day skating event at Jake’s Skate Park. Over 150 kids came to learn to skate from the best in Baltimore. The skaters and their families also enjoyed tasty treats, tunes, and giveaways all morning long.
Jake’s Skate Day kicks off our season of free skate lesson for kids at the skatepark. Well-known skaters, including Joey Jett, and members from Skatepark of Baltimore & Shape Skate Foundation, help kids get on the board, and build confidence while learning to skate.
The skaters and their families fueled up with tasty treats and coffee from OneDo Coffee Roasters and Miss Twist Ice Cream while dancing to tunes spun by DJ Illestrate.
