What’s New At Rash Field Park? June Construction Update
Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout May 2026
Phase 2 is really beginning to look like a complete park!
We had another great month of construction in May, and as a result we have seen a lot of tangible progress that has made the vision for this park come to life. Tons of plantings have been planted, boulders have been placed, and many more walking paths have been poured. There is still lots more to do in the next two months before Phase 2 opens to the public, but the finish line is almost in sight.
Here’s a look at the dramatic change in the look of the park in just 1 month!

As we head into the summer, we’re excited for more changes in the recreation and garden zones of the project. In June, the Plano-Coudon team will be installing more shade structures, equipment for the beach volleyball courts, and the installing of sod on the main lawn. All these additions will be some of the finishing touches before the park opening later this summer.

Despite construction, Rash Field Phase 1 will remain open, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community. Phase 2 is expected to be ready for outdoor fun and programming by the end of summer of 2026.
