What’s New At Rash Field Park? November Construction Update
Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout October 2025
It’s officially Fall, which means cooler weather, Daylight Savings time, and more progress on Rash Field Park Phase 2. Throughout October the Plano Coudon team continued to stay right on schedule with all the work that has to be done underground to prep for above-ground work. Workers continued excavation and grading, installed conduit and manholes, and made progress on running waterlines and sewers under the Phase 2 footprint.
During excavation we did run into a buried Underground Storage Tank - always a worry when dealing with an old industrial site. We reported it immediately, and under the watchful eye of the Maryland Department of the Environment safely removed and disposed of the tank, which had a small amount of watery-gasoline in it, and excavated the soil for proper disposal. We’re crossing our fingers that we won’t have any more surprises like that one! Over the next month, don’t be surprised if the site starts to take shape - literally. Rough grading should continue throughout the month to where we should be able to start to see the contours and shape that the final park will take.

Despite construction, Rash Field Phase 1 will remain open, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community.
