What’s New At Rash Field Park? January Construction Update

Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout December 2025

It is now 2026 which can only mean one thing: Rash Field Park will open this year! Coming into the new year we continue to move right along with Phase 2, as a lot of the primary underground work has been completed, and you can begin to see some of the top-layer construction taking place.

Throughout December the Plano-Coudon team made a lot of progress on the installation of electrical conduits and light pole foundations, and continued work to ensure proper drainage of the main field and the Promenade areas.

If you were watching our progress in December, you may have noticed that a lot of the field was bright orange. In order to make the park suitable for recreational use we are building the park up with clean material that will be brought to the site and the orange fabric is there to delineate between the existing soils and the new material. This has already started and you'll see that the orange fabric is already mostly covered up! We have been fortunate not to have any significant issues or any abnormal weather-related delays on the project.  Our construction team has done a great job keeping the project on track, and we are still looking to deliver the park in late Summer.

Despite construction, Rash Field Phase 1 will remain open, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community.
