What’s New At Rash Field Park? April Construction Update

Weekly site photos taken from BGE Pavilion throughout March 2026

Spring has officially sprung in Baltimore, and that means we are getting closer to the opening of Rash Field Park Phase 2! Throughout March there has been a lot of visible work above ground, and the park is beginning to take shape. Some of the most noticeable changes to the site are the laying down of turf soil where the large lawn space will reside, and the pouring of concrete sidewalks on the west side of the park.

Over the next month, the Plano-Coudon team will be working hard on installing shade structures and continue paving walkways throughout Phase 2. With the warm weather here to stay, we are excited to see more above ground infrastructure and landscaping work completed in preparation for the park opening late this summer.

Despite construction, Rash Field Phase 1 will remain open, and we will continue to host all the community events you know and love. We’re excited to see some significant changes in our weekly documentation of the site to share with the Baltimore community.
